JBS Powered GT30 Audi TT to enter Euro Sports Compact Drag Series

JBS will be sponsoring Tim Orpens JBS powered GT30 Audi TT in this years Euro Sports Compact Drag Series.

Tim Orpen and his JBS GT30 powered Audi TT has run some impressive times at open run events. Clocking his fastest quarter mile: 11.75 seconds @ 117.78 mph, and a top terminal speed of 119.32 mph at York race way.

Impressive times for a car that is driven daily, Tim has now entered the Euro Sports Compact Drag Series at Santa Pod.

In the Euro Sports Compact Drag Series  the best tuned cars from European manufactures go head to head in a battle to find our continents king. Racers compete for the championship as well as the individual event wins at The Fast Show, Performance Tuning & Modified Show and Ultimate Street Car.

Euro Sports Compact is for European cars with European bodies and engines from 4 to 6 cylinders, with open tyre choice. Cars typically run 10 to 12 second quarter miles at 130mph plus.

Tim with his 450Bhp and 400 ft/Ib produced from his JBS GT30 powered 1.8 20v T, should perform well and we expect some good results from his opening season in the Euro Sports Compact Series.

JBS will be proud sponsors of Tim throughout the series.

The first race is at The Fast Show event on the 21st March
