Option 3: Re-bore +0.5>1.5mm: Forged Piston and Rods
                   CNC Ported and Polished head with Supertech Inlet & Exhaust Valves

CNC Head

The CNC ported and polished head is fitted with Supertech Inconel nickel-chromium alloy valves and is capable of 650+bhp. Intended to fast road/ tackday applications, this head will provide excellent exhaust flow.

This head will release the full potential of the engine allowing any other modifications made to be used to their full potential. The majority of improvements have been made on the exhaust side of the head. This improves turbo efficiency, boosting power, improving response (reduced turbo lag) and will allow a larger turbo to be used without lag.

Rebuilt bottom end

The rebuilt bottom end consists of re-bored cylinders, choice of +0.5, +1,+1.5mm with matching Forged Pistons, lowering the compression to 9.5:1 or 8.5:1 and also includes:

Uprated components

  • 81.5/82/82.5 mm Wossner pistons (compression 8.5:1)
  • PEC Forged Connecting Rods (20mm wrist pins)

 

  • Head Skim and Pressure Test
  • Supertech Stainless Steel Inlet Valves
  • Supertech Inconel Exhaust Valves

New OEM parts

  • Timing Belt Kit and Tensioners
  • Water Pump With Metal Impellor
  • Engine Gaskets
  • Crank and Con Rod Shells
  • New Genuine Oil Pump
  • Platinum Coated Spark Plugs
  • New Genuine Thermostat

Alternative options:

  • 81.5/82mm JE pistons
  • Integrated Engineering rods

Other extras include:

  • Supertech Uprated valve springs and retainers
  • Crank Bearing performance girdle (inc. Fitting)
  • Baffled sump (incurs Surcharge of £103.50)
  • Skid Plate

There are 3 ways for JBS to carry out a rebuild of your engine:

1.       You supply a engine out of the car.


2. Drive in Drive out

This will incur extra labour charges for removal of the engine.

3.       Replacement (Buy out right)

There is a Surcharge incurred for this option, the surcharge is refunded once your engine is received and inspected to be in good working order.

Delivery is charged separately.
