PULSOIDS (Details)
Due to our INNOVATIVE BILLET ALLOY design, our PULSOIDS are up to 75% lighter than equivalent solenoids, plus the coils run cooler for greater reliability. Stainless steel solenoids (which run hotter than our billet alloy PULSOIDS ), are known to "melt" the coil winding to the stainless core which causes failure and an added expense to repair.

Another advantage of the alloy body is that the movement of the stainless steel plunger creates less wear particles than the plunger in a stainless body. In solenoids with stainless bodies, these particles can cause the plunger movement to seize open and cause the solenoid to leak, which becomes a major problem when the solenoids are pulsed for progressive power delivery, as the wear rate is accelerated by as much as 200 to 1. NOS "claim" that their latest solenoids out flow other solenoids because of their new "unique" direct flow path and bottom port exit, this is "untrue" as our PULSOIDS have an even better flow path with an "axial" exit port and have been this design for almost 5 years.

This shows how far HIGH-POWER technology is in front of American designs, and these high flow features ensure we achieve a greater power to size ratio than any other solenoid on the market. The alloy body is not the only advanced design feature of our PULSOlD, the "matched" Hi-Tech thermo plastic outlet seat and plunger seal ensure a "zero" wear and leakage rate, (our seal material actually rejects particle impregnation, unlike all other solenoids).

Another unique feature of the seats used in the PULSOIDS is that they are "adjustable" this allows the lift to be optimized to suit the maximum flow required, which results in shorter response times. Another feature that ensures our PULSOIDS respond instantly to the pulses sent out by a progressive controller, is the "rapid response" coil winding that we use, these make the PULSOIDS respond over a wider range of pulse width modulation, which results in a smoother delivery of power than other solenoids.
